Content Policy

When you upload artwork for printing on a custom product, you're telling us that the artwork is yours to print. We review every upload by hand before production, and we reserve the right to refuse anything that breaks the rules below or that we just don't feel right printing.
1. You must hold the rights
You may only upload artwork that you own, or that you have a licence to print on physical products. Original work, work in the public domain, work made by someone who's given you permission, or work released under a permissive licence is fine. Screenshots, fan art of trademarked characters, logos belonging to other companies, AI generations of named people, and assets ripped from the web are not.
If a rights-holder contacts us about a print you placed, we'll cancel any unprinted orders and may take down already-printed listings. We may also share your order details with the rights-holder if they ask us to.
2. Prohibited content
We won't print:
- Hateful, harassing, or discriminatory material targeting any group of people.
- Sexual content involving anyone who is or appears to be under 18.
- Real-person nudes (without explicit, written consent of the person depicted).
- Doxx-style material — real names, addresses, or phone numbers of identifiable people.
- Threats of violence, self-harm glorification, or instructions for violence.
- Content that promotes illegal activity in India (drugs, weapons, fraud).
- Content designed to mislead — fake government seals, counterfeit currency, forged certificates.
3. Quality + printability
We may also reject prints that are technically un-printable — too low DPI for the chosen size, images that are mostly outside the print area, or files that fail to open. If that happens we'll tell you what's wrong and refund you in full. You're welcome to reorder with a corrected file.
4. What happens during review
- Approved. We start printing immediately and email you with an estimated dispatch date.
- Rejected.We cancel the order and issue a full refund. The email will tell you why so you can re-submit if it's a fixable issue.
- Time-out.If we don't complete review within 72 hours of you placing the order, the order automatically cancels and you receive a full refund — no manual action needed from you.
5. Once printed, no returns
Custom-printed items can't be returned once they've been made just for you. If something is damaged in transit or our print is meaningfully different from what you uploaded, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we'll make it right.
6. Takedown + report
Believe someone has printed your copyrighted artwork or something that breaks this policy? Email hello@penpanprints.com with the order details and proof of rights. We respond within 48 hours.
